Bio fresh packaging is used for extending the shelf life of: vegetables, fruit and flowers.
This packaging has been uniquely developed and contains a special mineral with the ability to absorb ethylene gas that is emitted from plants and agricultural products, in order to lengthen the shelf life of the product. Ethylene gas, produced naturally by vegetables, is one of the primary factors causing “aging” of fruits and vegetables, or the process is known as ripening. The simple use of bio fresh packaging lengthens the shelf life of the produce and delays the ripening process of fruit, vegetables and flowers.
The bio fresh packaging is suitable for packaging agricultural crops intended for home use as well as for exports, by sea or by air.
